Keep it under about 300 characters: a longer vCard makes the code denser and harder to scan from a business card.

Minimum QR code size by scan distance

The 10:1 rule: divide the distance the code will be scanned from by 10 to get its minimum printed side length. Below this, phone cameras fail to lock on.
